Merlin Project

Merlin Project makes project management much easier and efficient. It combines many powerful features into one platform, on which you can manage individual tasks and resources, allocate personnel to specific jobs and keep track of everything in a simple and comfortable manner. The application can be installed in a few moments, just like any other Mac OS X app and you can try it for 30 days without paying anything.

You can start working with Merlin Project right away, by adding your first tasks to a list. Once you create a new item in the list, the application will automatically represent it in a timetable, next to the list. It is also possible to group activities, by creating child and parent items in the list. Additional information can be assigned to a selected item on the right side of the user interface. The application lets you specify start and end dates, priorities, completion percentages and more.

Essentially, Merlin Project presents a breakdown of your work, according to how you group your activities. What's more, the breakdown view can be replaced with other view modes, for resources, assignments, reports and others. A particularly useful view mode is the Net Plan, in which you can view your entire project as a mind map or in various chart types, which are generated automatically.

The best aspect of Merlin Project is the fact that it generates various statistics and charts automatically, based on the user's input. All you have to do is create and categorize your tasks and assign resources or make other specifications, which can be done on the fly. What's more, the application is available in portable and server editions, so all people that are involved in the same project can track their progress or that of others without any effort.
